Bridge cranes are used in mostly enclosed spaces as an effective way to increase process reliability and productivity. This is because these cranes can be operated in all directions, which allows them to reach a specific, predefined area within a room or even the entire room (e.g. on vessels, offshore platforms, in wind turbine nacelles or in production halls/facilities). They are usually available as single or double girder types with one or two travelling trolleys per crane or girder.
