FUCHS Fördertechnik GmbH provides versatile, flexible system solutions for crane and material handling technology. The company’s special expertise has always lied in the development and production of custom systems for the maritime industry (maritime transport), offshore sector, wind power, the clean room industry – in short, any industrial sector requiring equipment for hoisting and transporting/conveying loads (cranes/crane systems, travelling trolleys, other hoisting devices), portable equipment under load for tying down and protecting hulls (boat booms, fender systems), or equipment for sealing/covering objects (hatches,
flaps), for embarking or disembarking vessels (service bridges, gangways, access gangway systems) and for lighting and signalling (light and radar masts).
All products are individually developed – always to the customer’s exact specifications and precisely tailored to the specific application area – and manufactured in-house so they are ready to install at the customer’s premises. To make sure that every detail meets the individual requirements, experienced engineers support each customer every step of the way right up to delivery – and if desired, even to installation and commissioning at the customer’s premises. Proper maintenance and training, support and advice on optimal use of the systems are included to provide a full service package – it’s why customers all over the world see FUCHS Fördertechnik GmbH as a reliable partner and specialist in crane and material handling technology.
Furthermore, top quality of the finished products is ensured thanks to the strict quality management system, certified by DNV GL in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, and also thanks to the ‘Factory Production Control’ certified under EN 1090 and offered through our affiliation with our sister companies, FUCHS Oberflächentechnik GmbH and FUCHS Produktionstechnik GmbH. The high quality of the products is also assessed using a multi-level system, comprising intermediate and plant inspections. Ultimately, all products manufactured and sold by FUCHS Fördertechnik GmbH are subject either to the regulations and inspections of a classification society appointed by the customer (ABS, Bureau Veritas, CCS, DNV GL, KRS, Lloyd’s Register, ClassNK, RINA, RS, etc.) or to the rules and regulations of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV).
