Market launch of first stainless steel hook for man-riding completed
In order to be able to offer customers from the yachting sector a seawater-resistant crane hook approved for load cases with conveyance of persons (man-riding), FUCHS Fördertechnik developed the first and only approved hook system on the market to date – the FUCHS-Bottom Hook Block FH1. Its market launch is now successfully completed.
Primarily designed for luxury yachts and load cases with conveyance of persons (man-riding), the FUCHS-Bottom Hook Block FH1 can also be used in other sectors and for normal load cases without man-riding (cargo).
The FUCHS-Bottom Hook Block FH1 is type approved by the ship classification society DNV GL. It is designed for fibre ropes. In addition, it is self-locking – in accordance with safety requirements – once the load has been picked up, and features a compact design with low headroom and integrated hook weight. The FUCHS-Bottom Hook Block FH1 can be unlocked easily and ergonomically and is approved for load capacities up to a maximum of 4.0 t SWL. Visual requirements are fulfilled by the high gloss polishing of the complete hook system.
