FUCHS changes its certification partner with regard to ISO 9001

In 1993, FUCHS decided to obtain ISO 9001 certification from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for the first time. This partnership lasted a total of 31 years and survived the merger of DNV with Germanischer Lloyd (GL).

Over the last few years, however, DNV has found itself in a situation where more and more certification accreditations have been outsourced, which has made communication and the availability of auditors increasingly difficult – particularly in terms of deadlines, but also in general.

As a result of this development, FUCHS has now changed its certification body as of 22 February 2024. The new certification partner for ISO 9001 is KIWA International Cert GmbH.
