FUCHS Fördertechnik develops innovative electrically driven rescue boat winch according to REG Yacht Code Part A

In order to avoid the system-related disadvantages of hydraulically driven winches, FUCHS Fördertechnik is developing a fully electrically driven rescue boat winch based on the REG Yacht Code Part A.

To date, such a development is unique worldwide and by using this winch it is now also possible to do without any hydraulic piping. In addition to the hydraulic supply that is no longer required, the significantly reduced life cycle costs are also a major advantage of this new innovative winch concept.

The first three crane systems from FUCHS will be delivered with this new lifeboat winch this year.
